Forgotten Cartridges

Every random idea that I think would make a funny/weird/interesting game, but that I don’t have time to develop. I like to think that there’s an old dusty box in some attic somewhere, filled with these forgotten jewels, just waiting to be re-discovered.

“Escape from the suburbs” – Try to fend for yourself through rows of identical houses with lawns carefuly mowed to spite one another’s neighbour, run through a soon-to-be-shut-down mall where the soulless music confuses you just enough that you might give up and buy a fancyccino latte with enough sugar to raise the dead.
Will you come out alive, and…sane?

“Open space” – Nature has overtaken the cities and the few humans left have gone back to their old ways. Explore and discover new plants, grow your own crops in these vertical farms, and be creative with your use of past technologies to reinvent your life.

“Follow me to your room” – After a long road, you finally find a motel that has vacancies, you don’t ask any question, you just want a room. Wait… Maybe you should have…

“Where are the humans?” – In a place and time undefined, where no humans appear to be around, and only machines and extraterrestrial beings can be seen, all asking the question, where are the humans?

“…they stayed there” – Every person who’s left a mark in your life as labyrinthic houses you visit and try not to get lost in.

“MTL Back alleys” – A love letter to Montréal’s lovely back alleys. Explore the “green alleys”, compete with a mysterious artful graffiti artist, try not to die in a pothole or rusty spiral staircase, and celebrate the beauty of the summer sipping a microbrew on someone’s dimly lit backyard deck.
